Argolis, where Tolo is located, is a county favoured by visitors particularly from Athens due to its easy access – great road networks mean that the journey is just around one and half hours from the airport or the centre of Athens.
Tourists from all over the world flock to the world famous archaeological sites of Mycenae and the Ancient Theatre of Epidavros, one of the oldest pyramids in the world at Elliniko, the fantastic twin chasms at Didyma and the Natural History Museum.
At different times of the year the countryside in the Argolida changes as the thousands of orange and mandarin trees lining the roadsides flower and mature. During Spring and Summer time the aroma of orange blossom hangs heavy in the air and travelling down to Tolo one can feel the sea breeze cooling the temperatures.
